Frequently Asked Questions

Q) Will I be able to get tickets at the door?
A) Yes - but it is probably best to book preferred seating online. If you prefer to purchase at the door, it is suggested that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to avoid lines before show time.

Q) Is seating assigned or is it general admission?
A) MCT uses various venues so seating is determined based on the venue for that production.  When you order your tickets, if you are not required to select a seat, then the admission will be General Admission.

Q) Where is the Theater located?
A)  MCT currently does not own a theater so we use various venues based on the production needs.  Please be sure the check the show information for the location of the venue.

Q) What if I have special seating needs or need Handicap seating?
A) Send and email to MCTinfo@MainstageClassicTheatre.org with your request and we will be happy to assist you.

Q) Where is the "Will Call"?
A) Will Call is located at the Box Office - it will be clearly labeled.  To avoid stopping at Will Call, select e-Ticket when processing your order to have it sent directly to your e-mail for printing or show your order confirmation on your phone at the door.

Q)  How old to be considered a child, senior, or student?
A) Child is under 13.  Senior is 62 and older.  Student is under 18

Q) How many people count as a large group for a discount?
A) 15 or more. The Group rate is a discount of $2 per ticket.  If you have questions regarding group rates, send an e-mail to MCTnfo@MainstageClassicTheatre.org.  Please provide your group name, contact name and phone number.  Additional information needed to process your group order: Show date and time, and how many of each type of tickets you need.  We will block an estimated number of seats while you finalize your seat count but tickets must be purchased 7 days prior to the show date. No refunds on tickets once they are purchased.

Q)  What is the ticket refund policy?

A)  We do not give refunds for purchased tickets.  If an unexpected conflict comes up, you can send an e-mail to MCTnfo@MainstageClassicTheatre.org at least 24 hours prior to the show to see if it is possible to switch show dates.

Q)  Why did MCT (aka Mansfield Community Theatre) change its name to Mainstage Classic Theatre?
A)  The Board of Directors wanted a name that more accurately reflected our audience and the nature of our productions.  Although MCT (as it is most commonly called) is 'Mansfield's Community Theatre', it entertains people not only from Mansfield but all over DFW area.  Thanks to you, we’ve grown tremendously over the last few years and we wanted our name to reflect our ever expanding company.  But, you can still just call us MCT!
